Dry Sargassum 淡海草 

 

Dry Sargassum appears in thin, long strips with a naturally curled texture and brownish-green color. The surface may contain a natural salt-like coating. It is brittle, with fine fibers, and carries a mild ocean aroma and a naturally salty taste.


Nature & Flavor: Salty and cooling.

Traditionally used in herbal practices to help clear heat, dissolve phlegm, soften hardness, and promote fluid regulation.

 

Suggested Preparation:
Traditionally prepared in soups or herbal decoctions using 5–10g.

 

Important Notes:
According to traditional herbal principles, this product may not be suitable for individuals with sensitive or cold digestive conditions. Do not use together with licorice root (Gan Cao 甘草).
