This product appears in irregular segments with brownish, wrinkled roots. The root crown may contain brown or yellowish-white fine hairs, some of which may naturally detach. The leaves are often curled and fragmented, ranging from greenish-brown to dark grayish-green in color.

Flower heads feature layered bracts with yellowish-brown to pale yellow-white petals. Long oval-shaped seeds with white feathery hairs may occasionally be visible. It has a mild herbal aroma and a slightly bitter taste.

Nature & Flavor: Bitter, slightly sweet, and cooling
Traditionally used in herbal preparations to support heat balance, moisture regulation, and overall herbal wellness.

Suggested Preparation: 
Traditionally prepared in herbal decoctions using approximately 10–15g.
For external use, the herb may be crushed and applied topically.
