规则的块状，表面白色至类白色，略粗糙或平坦。质坚硬。气微，味淡。以体重坚实、断面白色细腻、嚼之粘牙者为佳。主要分布区域为吉
林、安徽、浙江、福建、河南、湖北、广西、四川、贵州、云南等地。
性味归经:
性味甘，淡，平；归心，脾，肺，肾经。
功效特点:
渗湿利水；健脾和胃；宁心安神。所含茯苓酸具有增强免疫力、抗肿瘤以及镇静、降血糖等的作用。可松弛消化道平滑肌，抑制胃酸分泌，
防止肝细胞坏死，抗菌等功效。
古籍记载:
《用药心法》:茯苓，淡能利窍，甘以助阳，除湿之圣药也。味甘平补阳，益脾逐水，生津导气；
《本经》:主胸胁逆气，忧恚惊邪恐悸，心下结痛，寒热烦满，咳逆，口焦舌干，利小便。
常规用量:
内服:煎汤，10-15g。
注意事项:
肾虚多尿、虚寒滑精、气虚下陷、津伤口干者、阴虚而无湿热慎服；忌米醋。
