Xian He Cao (仙鹤草)

The stems range from light brown to purplish-red in color with a smooth, hairless surface and hollow interior. The leaves are dark grayish-green, naturally curled and wrinkled, with a brittle texture that breaks easily. The herb has a mild natural aroma and a slightly bitter taste.
